all aboard the butter bean bandwagon!

butter bean hummus topped with olive oil and pine nuts.

Hi, Reader!

Butter beans have been having their well deserved moment for quite some time now and I needed to hop on the bandwagon. They're a white bean that's known for their soft, creamy texture, rich flavor, and light, buttery color. Because of this, I knew they'd be the perfect alternative to chickpeas in hummus.

This creamy butter bean hummus is a delicious twist on the traditional chickpea hummus! Still using classic flavors of garlic, lemon and tahini, it's the perfect spread for dipping, layering sandwiches, and much more.

If you're not a fan of butter beans, I also have a traditional hummus recipe without garlic or you can follow this recipe as is and just use 1 can of chickpeas instead.
